Cross-Disciplinary design skills cover most if not all of the stages of development in a commercial digital media project. The cross-disciplinary designer keeps her/himself consistantly informed of what's successful in all of today's digital media industries. This approach allows for strategic problem solving and planning when making design decisions that could make or break your project later on down the road. In layman's terms, I basically use my experience and knowledge in all of the digital media fields to identify production/development pitfalls before we crash into them.

I specialize in bringing your company a complete set of time-tested skills ranging from the macro view of design principles and marketing techniques down to the micro details of which JavaScript library version or CSS tags are right for the users of your project.

My journey started when the digital revolution brought the power of digital production straight to our humble laptops.

Armed with years of experience and tricks (it's all about the tricks), I strive to bring enthusiasm, creative problem-solving, and a focused drive to succeed to the projects I take on. I use my expertise from the different fields of media design, web development, and business marketing to speak to each team member in their language to ensure the project is completed while maintaining the integrity of the initial strategy throughout the entire development process.

Today it's actually possible to plan, collaborate, sketch, design, edit, cut, publish, and analize a project with nothing more than a laptop/device and a connection. This is a really good thing, because users expect a lot more from a company these days. After all, users can now interact with media ANYWHERE and ANYTIME, which means companies now have the opportunity to be seen by customers in their personal space and time. That type of intimacy, calls for unobtrusive, quality, reliable and scalable design. Game on.

UI/UX

Easily the most ephemeral and unfortunately the least understood, UI/UX work is truly "the rug that ties the room together" for a digital design project. But what exactly is UI/UX?

In short, UI is the "user interface" aspect of a project while UX is the "user experience" aspect. These pre-design (UI) and post production (UX) perspectives keep your project focused on the user from design to development, and all the way through to the marketing push and the social phase.
